I've always been fascinated with architecture, especially old, abandoned buildings and the memories that linger within them.

All too often in today's society, these fabulously well-crafted buildings are left to rot, and blocked-off from exploration and appreciation. Legislation has a lot to answer for.

Cold stairway

I love stair-cases in photos, they allow architecture to be placed within a building that can be unique to the rest of the space around it. Though I do admit I often prefer a body in a state of undress to be on any stair-cases I photograph, this one I can't help imagining the people using it without even really noticing it's there.
